This is our heavy duty theft deterrent and tie
down hitch built from 1/4 inch steel and solidly
welded to help protect your ATV from theft while
tying it down securely and easily in your truck
bed. This hitch slides into your existing
receiver on your truck and can be locked into
place to prevent unwanted removal. While
in place it would be nearly impossible to remove
your ATV from your truck bed without unlocking
this device. Due to it being almost as
tall as the rack on your ATV and taller than the
bed of your truck, the thief would have to lift
your ATV 2 1/2 feet over the hitch (or the side
of the bed of the truck) to remove it from your
truck... NOT an easy task to do... you would
need 8 or more big guys to do such a thing.
A thief would probably go else where to steal an
ATV.... and if that isn't good enough, you can
chain your ATV to the hitch to add even more
protection.
When properly installed it will also prevent
your ATV from rolling out the back of your
truck, even if your straps break or come loose.
